POSITION: Account Representative(Intern)
OVERVIEW: The Account Representative (AR) is the key day-to-day contact for all our sales and customer support activities. Assigned to a team working collaboratively to support given territories or markets, the Account Representative applies his or her excellent customer service skills and system knowledge to meet the daily needs of the customer.
RELATIONSHIPS:
The Account Representative will take action under the direct supervision of his or her respective Customer Service Manager and indirect supervision from the Regional Manager and Account Manager.. The Customer Service Manager will also work in collaboration with the Account Executives and fellow Account Representatives to meet customer needs. He or she will take action in a manner that supports the Sales Department’s and the Company’s Forward Plan and will take action in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, the Employee Handbook and applicable laws.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service
· Respond to customer requests for information in a timely manner.
· Answer customer telephone calls, providing technical information and addressing and resolving inquiries and problems.
· Process incoming mail, email, leads and faxes, responding to customer needs and requests.
· Sell Company products to customers, either by promoting products with existing customers or by following up on referrals to prospective customers.
· Work with the Account Manager (AM) to develop quotes.
· Expedite customer orders.
· Work independently, makes solid contributions on a daily basis with minimal direct supervision.
Sales Opportunities
· Share with the AM opportunities to introduce IEWC services to customers
· Identify opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell products and services while working with the existing customer. Introduce products and services and identify follow-up time for the AM.
Sales Data
· Maintain accurate and updated data within 20/20 Vision.
· As requested, create and run sales reports and mailing lists.
· Complete and maintain all required paperwork, quotes, records, reports and documentation.
Marketing Support
· Keep the Account Manager and Regional Manager informed about competitive products, promotional matters, sales techniques, pricing and marketing programs.
· Secure and communicate through 20/20 Vision growth opportunities uncovered through dialog with existing customers.

Education and/or Experience
A Bachelor’s degree majored in Wire and Cable or related.
Language Skills
CET-6 or above, proficiency in spoken English. |
